Hull Shield Installation

Important – Read First

The performance of your new system requires a properly installed system. Proper transducer attachment and placement is critical to effective anti-fouling.

  • All transducers must be at an elevation below the waterline.
  • The provided power cable must be attached to a power distribution panel capable of supplying power when the boat ignition is off, or directly to the battery – similar to how a bilge pump is wired. Just like a bilge pump, the Hull Shield system will always need access to power.
  • To validate your warranty, you must register your warranty here:  https://crm.ecosonic.co/warranty-registration
HD Systems do not have a serial number.  The serial numbers must be included on all HDi, HDY, and HDX systems.

More detailed information will be provided soon for the new HDi product line – check back again soon.

If you have an HDY or HDX System, the installation manual is in an online eLearning course.  Please email support@hullshield.net to request a copy of the installation manual (after you register for your warranty https://crm.ecosonic.co/warranty-registration).  We do not provide HDY/HDX installation instructions unless there is an active warranty registration.
